101 To Do's: 53 - If you have guests attending from out of town who are parents, suggest babysitting options for them!

 This step only applies if you're having an "Adult Only" wedding. If you have important guests travelling in from far away places or another country, and they are bringing their children, they may need your help in locating child care. Sure, some may be able to travel with a nanny, but if that's not the case consider these options:

3 Options for assisting your out of town wedding guests with children, find childcare:

1. If you already know trustworthy child care providers. Make arrangements to have them on site at your wedding location. Your wedding venue will most likely have additional rooms that can be used. For example, dressing rooms or meeting spaces. This puts parents at ease as they can check on their children easily, especially if there is an emergency. 

2. If you have decided on option 1 above, consider providing children's activities. Items like crayons and coloring books are very affordable.

3. Consider reserving hotels that have childcare provisions. Some hotels have child care onsite as an amenity.
