Happy Monday and Happy March Fashionistas and friends! May this new month bring in many new blessings and new opportunities for success for us all. Speaking of new, it's time for another post in our jewelry symbols series! This one, also my friends, is the last post in this series.
March brings in the topic of 'luck'. I'm sure you're seeing a lot of mention of St. Patrick's Day events and "luck of the Irish". So, what do you think, is March the luckiest month of the year? (Insert ":thinking emoji" because I'm thinking about it too.) Whether it is or not, luck is still our focus today. By definition, luck is a concept that describes the experience of events occurring by chance. It's often used to explain improbable positive or negative events. One popular symbol of luck that I'm going to highlight today is the four-leaf clover (which I'm sure you'll see a lot of this month). Four-Leaf Clover - This is a classic symbol of luck, particularly in Irish and Celtic cultures. Each leaf is said to represent something: faith, hope, love, and luck. Let's take a look at this symbol in exquisite jewelry form!

A very Happy Monday Fashionistas and friends! I hope you all had a great weekend. Today I'm continuing this blog series with the topic of 'hope'. Hope is the optimistic belief that something positive will happen, even when faced with uncertainty or difficulty. It can be a powerful motivator, helping us to persevere through challenges and work towards a better future or outcome of a situation. It can also provide comfort, strength, and resilience in the face of adversity. There are many symbols that represent 'hope', ranging from nature-inspired, cultural, religious, and abstract. I am going to highlight the ones that we actually have available at the boutique. Let's explore! 1. Butterfly - This symbol falls under the abstract category as it relates to hope. Why does this beautiful creature represent hope? Well, the metamorphosis of a butterfly from a caterpillar to a beautiful winged creature is a powerful symbol of transformation and hope for a better future. 2. Cross - This one, as you may have guessed already, falls under the religious category. I also featured crosses in the first blog post in this series because it is also a popular symbol representing 'faith'. For Christians, the cross symbolizes hope in salvation and redemption. You can view all of our beautiful crosses in the 1st post here.
Happy Monday Fashionistas and friends! I hope this new year has been going well for you so far. I know there is a lot of sad news going on around us now - including the wildfires in California. We continue to pray for the well being and fast recovery of all of those affected by these disasters. In the midst of it all, we are still celebrating this new year. Boutique wise, I did so first with new exquisite arrivals and now I am starting a new blog series. This one is about jewelry that tells a story through design; specifically symbols. (I will feature the symbols we have available at the boutique so it will not be a comprehensive list). The first topic I'm shining a focus on is faith. By definition, faith is trust or confidence is something. Often when we first hear this word we think of religion or spirituality. In a religious sense, it is belief in God or in the teachings or doctrines of a religion. For some people it is also strong belief in a set of principles they hold dear to them. Below you'll find two popular symbols of 'Faith' in exquisite jewelry design: Cross - This is a primary symbol of Christianity, representing the crucifixion of Jesus Christ and the redeeming benefits of his death and resurrection. Star of David - It is a six-pointed symbol of Jewish faith. It represents the shield of King David.
