Happy Monday Fashionistas and friends! I hope you all had a great weekend. We've just entered a new month (one which I'm very excited about because it's my birthday month lol), so I pray we all have an amazing, love-filled, and prosperous month. February is sometimes referred to as the 'Love Month' so this next post in our symbols series is very fitting. We'll talk about 'love' - a universal emotion. It is expressed through various symbols throughout history and across cultures, but for our series, I'll feature the most recognized and meaningful symbols of love, which we actually have at our boutique. Let's begin with, probably, the most popular across multiple cultures - the heart. Heart - As stated above, the heart is presumably the most universally recognized symbol of love. Though not the exact shape of a real human heart, the stylized visual representation (symmetrical, curvy shape) of it symbolizes the center of emotion and affection. Rose - Next up is this classic flower. It is widely recognized as a symbol of not only love, but beauty and passion as well. It comes in a beautiful array of colors, each with its own special meaning. Amazing indeed right? Let's see what each color represents:
Infinity - I'm ending this list on an artistic note. The infinity symbol goes beyond its mathematical origin to represent eternity and everlasting love, with no beginning or end. A truly beautiful and romantic meaning!
