If you're having out of town guests attend your wedding and it's specifically at a hotel, it's a great idea to reserve a hotel room block for them. Hotels will usually provide a discounted rate for the block of rooms. Even, if it's not at a hotel but still in another city or country, and you want to help your guests out with ideas on where they can stay; here are 4 things to consider when researching accommodations for your out-of-town wedding guests:
1. Consider hotels or lodging that are close to your wedding venue(s). 2. Consider the price ranges of the hotel or lodging. You would want all of your guests to be able to afford the accommodations. So you may have to reserve room blocks at 2 or more nearby hotels to accommodate different budgets or provide options to them in different budget ranges. 3. Think about booking a shuttle service or transportation for your out-of-town guests if there aren't nearby accommodations to your wedding venue(e). 4. Think about how many rooms you will need and what type of amenities you would like to be available for your guests. Of course all of this research is optional, as you may have all of your wedding guests research their own accommodations. Download your free copy of the complete checklist here!
